Dermatological Use

Adapalene is a third-generation retinoid derivative of vitamin A.

The ingredient was developed in the late 1980’s and first approved by the FDA in 1996 as a skincare treatment for acne. It gained similar approval in the UK in 2003.

Adapalene advanced dermatology by offering a clinically proven and reliable long-term prescription topical treatment for acne, ageing skin, and hyperpigmentation.
